Madeline “Dylan” Murray is graduating with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and computer science from the School of Science and Engineering. After transferring to Tulane University, she quickly found her path in New Orleans, an experience that reshaped her plans and led her to pursue new opportunities. Dylan balanced academics with leadership in residence life, teaching, research, entrepreneurship and student performance groups. She also co-founded Exactics as a student and helped build the biotech startup into a growing venture. Her next step will be to head to Boston to help lead operations at Exactics, where she will continue expanding the company she helped launch. At Tulane University’s Unified Commencement, Dylan reflected on uncertainty, perseverance and the courage to change direction, offering words of inspiration to her fellow graduates and the Tulane community.
